Biography

Master in Applied Linguistics from the State University of Campinas (1992) and PhD in Linguistics from the State University of Campinas (1999). Currently, she is an Associate Professor at the University of São Paulo. She performed her postdoctoral research between August and December of 2008, alongside the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She performed a second postdoctoral research between August and December of 2013, alongside King’s College London. She has experience in the field of Languages, with emphasis in translation, operating mainly in the following themes: Translation, Psychoanalysis, Translation and Ethics, Literary Translation and Brazilian Literature Translated to English.
