Through weekly chats between actress and Theater director VALÉRIA MARCHI (PPGELLI's Master's student), filmmaker and film critic DANIEL ABRANTES, and actress and film critic TUNA DWEK and special guests, the chanel Reveland Shakespeare aims to approximate all of us to the phenomenal work of the greates author of all times - William Shakespeare. Poet, playwriter and actor, he lived most of his life in London, during the Elizabethean period (1558-1603). Shakespeare was a man of the theater. Great actor, he used to write and adapt to the stage wonderful stories. His plays were made for the people and its language, profoundly imagetic and full of a singular beauty, sought to talk directly with its public. His work traversed the centuries through his 38 plays, 154 sonnets and a great variety of poems. Why talk about Shakespeare nowadays? With his work, Shakespeare completely changed Western thinking and culture. To celebrate Shakespeare is to celebrate life!
