Biography

Mayumi Ilari is an Assistant Professor at the English Language and Literary Studies field in the Department of Modern Languages at the University of São Paulo since 2009, where she researches English-language (British and American) dramaturgies and interfaces between theater, history and dramatic forms in Modern and Contemporary theaters context. She also researches relations between theater and society in branches such as political theater, experimental theater and collective creation of theater of the animated form, among others.
