Biography
Bachelor’s degree in Language and Literature from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, Master in Applied Linguistics and Language Studies from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and PhD in Linguistics from the State University of Campinas. Currently, she is a professor at the Department of Modern Languages at the Faculty of Philosophy, Languages and Literature, and Human Sciences – University of Sao Paulo (USP). She has experience in the Linguistics and Applied Linguistics fields, with emphasis on Historical Semantics of Enunciation and Discourse Analysis, operating mostly in the following fields: textbook, Discourse analysis in the media, ecological discourse, identity, new technologies, foreign language and English language teaching/learning.
