Biography
Graduated in English Language and Literature from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1976), Master in Applied Linguistics and Language Studies from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1985) and PhD in Applied Linguistics and Language Studies from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1996). She has performed her Postdoctoral research at the University of Campinas and at the University of Montreal. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor-MS3 at the University of São Paulo. Her researches are focused on the Applied Linguistics field and her interests are linked to Discourse analysis, foreign language teaching, media and identity practices.
